Bentley Corniche Convertible (1971)

Bentley Corniche Convertible (1971)

This particular car (Chassis DBH10122) was the very first Bentley Corniche convertible, and only 1 of 31 right hand drive cars made in its series. The name originally comes from the French word corniche, a coastal road along the French Riviera above the principality of Monaco. This charming right-hand drive 1971 Convertible has Regal Red exterior coachwork paired together with a Beige leather interior, and a off-white convertible top. This Corniche was originally delivered to Dominion Motors Ltd, Wellington, New Zealand in July 1971, and has since made its way to South Africa where its fastidious and caring owner did a beautiful, correct restoration. In comparison with its predecessor, the Bentley Corniche was made with several modifications such as, the electrical hood, reinforcements on the substructure, new hub caps, rectangular reverse lights, standard front fog lights, a special Corniche steering wheel, many changes to the dashboard (like a rev counter), a changed grille (deeper) and still many changes more. This is a special Bentley that will be a superb long term investment and be the talk of the town. What else can you possibly ask for?
